Statement of Beliefs

Based on Maimonides’ Thirteen Principles of the Jewish Faith

We believe with perfect faith that YHVH is the Creator and Ruler of all things. He alone has made, does make, and will make all things.

We believe with perfect faith that YHVH is One. There is no unity that is in any way like His. He alone is our God. He was, He is, and He forever will be.

We believe with perfect faith that YHVH is not physical and is not affected by physical phenomena. Further, there is no comparison to Him whatsoever.

We believe with perfect faith that YHVH is the very first and the very last.

We believe with perfect faith that it is only proper to pray to YHVH. One may not pray to anyone or anything else.

We believe with perfect faith that all the words of the prophets are true.

We believe with perfect faith that the prophecy of Moses, our teacher, is absolutely true. He was the chief of all prophets, both before and after Him.

We believe with perfect faith that the entire Torah (Written and Oral) that we now have is that which was given to Moses, our teacher.

We believe with perfect faith that this Torah will not be changed, and that there will never be another given by YHVH.

We believe with perfect faith that YHVH knows all of man's deeds and thoughts. It is thus written (Psalm 33:15), "He has fashioned every heart together, He understands what each one does."

We believe with perfect faith that YHVH rewards those who keep His commandments, and punishes those who transgress Him.

We believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah. Even though he may delay, I will await His coming every day.

We believe with perfect faith that there will be a resurrection of the dead, when YHVH wills it to happen.
